Teachers Who Bully?

Students have long endured bullying, whether it be physical, emotional, or just stupid drama from peers. While it still happens, and has since spread to the internet to make the infamous "Cyber bullying", a new, or should I say "old", generation has rejoined the fight.

More and more students have been dealing with something I like to call Administrative Bullying, meaning that instead of being abused by fellow students, they are being abused by teachers.

I myself have dealt with Administrative Bullying. My freshman year in highschool, a senior and I got into an argument. While I prefer to use words to my advantage, she (and most other students in the ghetto school) immediately resorts to physical violence. Having just been threatened with death, I fired back the best insult I could in the spur of the moment right as the teacher walked in.

Of course, since that particular teacher adored her seniors, I got in the most trouble I ever had been in before. No matter how many times I told my story, or how many witnesses backed me up, the eighteen year old whore (who was ONCE AGAIN pregnant) was believed over the sixteen year old freshman and two other seniors on my side.

After the scuffle happened, the teacher and teacher's aide took to verbally abusing my senior friend and I. We were ignored, blown off, and interrupted by both the teachers and seniors in the class. If we had a question about homework (it was academic support), we were ignored, and if we asked more than once, we were written up. Slang was thrown around, books were knocked from desks, and insulting phrases were murdered under breaths.

We originally thought of going to guidance to tell of our misfortune, but who would believe students over teachers? We weren't even considered adults, and we knew if we brought it up to the dean, he would say we deserved it for something.

So what do you do? Pray that the dean believes you? hope they will get over their hatred? As far as I have heard, nothing can be done. My friend and I have yet to have justice, and sadly many other students are waiting, too.

Have your own Administrative Bullying story? Tell me in the comments, I might be able to help you through it. If you are a teacher and know any advice, please share with us.
